“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” – Romans 3:23
We were created for relationship with God. Sin broke that connection — not just through bad behavior, but through a nature inherited from Adam. Yet God’s solution was never religion, rules, or shame — it was grace through His Son, Jesus.
Sin isn’t just what we do — it’s the condition we’re born into. It’s the default separation from God, like a spiritual orphanage.
But God never stopped reaching.
God’s answer was not condemnation, but reconciliation.
“God demonstrates His own love toward us in this: while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” – Romans 5:8
This is grace: God did for us what we couldn’t do for ourselves.
The Law exposes our need.
Grace provides the remedy.
Paul makes it clear: the Law was our tutor (Galatians 3:24), but grace is our inheritance. You are not under law, but under grace (Romans 6:14).

Father, thank You for loving me even in my brokenness. Thank You for sending Jesus to rescue me. I receive Your gift of righteousness and choose to walk in grace, not guilt. Help me understand that I am truly new in Christ. In Jesus' name, amen.
